The Sylvania Community Services Foundation was established in 2005 with a
bequest from the estate of Sophie House, a longtime participant of the Sylvania
Senior Center. The Foundation was formed exclusively to support the programs
of Sylvania Community Services Center, Inc. into the future.
Sylvania Community Services (SCS) strives to meet the growing needs of the Sylvania
area community by providing an active state-of-the-art Senior Center serving adults
age 55+, and a high quality Child Care program for the Sylvania district with its
unique “pay-as-you-stay” program. Both serve the community by providing
educational, social, cultural and service programs and opportunities.
By supporting the Sylvania Community Services Foundation, you continue to support these
programs and services of Sylvania Community Services, a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization.
Donations and contributions to the Foundation are a lasting gift that ensures the continuation
and growth of quality programs and services. Contributions are tax deductible.

Community Services Foundation as a direct or a charitable remainder beneficiary.
